Not only will the strip see new Casinos being opened, but the old and not so old Casino and resorts will be getting makeovers! There is a long list of Casinos who are scheduled for expansions and redevelopment. However, some of the major Casino’s which are expected to contribute in the growth of the strip are scheduled for 2009 and beyond. These include the openings off M Resort, Encore, Fontainebleau and the massive CityCenter. The year 2010 and beyond will see Echelon Place, Crown Las Vegas and the new MGM-Dubai World metaresort take shape on the west side of the north Strip.

According to reports there are around 50,000 rooms that are scheduled to be built on the Strip over the next five years. You can find the full Las Vegas "Report Card," including building timetables till 2012, online!
